If you play snare drum in a pipe band, then you know you need an extremely bright, articulated sound and one very high-pitched snare to get the right timbre. This long-lasting 14" marching snare drum batter head is made just for that and can handle pipe-band-style tuning. In fact, the Evans PB-SB1B has been developed in collaboration with Stephen Creighton of the St. Laurence O'Toole Pipe Band.
